Do you also have a non-singing "day job"? If so, what do you do?
I don’t have a “day-job” but I do have an online Apothecary business. You can find me at ravenshearth.bigcartel.com and on Instagram @ravens.hearth.
Where else do you teach/gig/conduct/sing/perform?
I’ve worked as a freelance singer in LA for over 30 years. I recently “retired” from my church job to devote more time to my small business. I sing for High Holiday services at Stephen Wise temple, I do some vocal coaching, session work and consultation.

Highlights of your musical career:
Favorite choral work(s):
Requiem (Duruflé), Rejoice in the Lamb (Britten), Laud to the Nativity (Respighi), 2nd Symphony Finale (Mahler), Little Match Girl (Lang)
A defining moment of favorite LA Master Chorale onstage experience:
Again, this is so difficult. The 2014 performances of the Verdi Requiem with the LA Philharmonic was pretty epic. And getting to be a part of the performance of Frank Zappa's 200 MOTELS will be forever etched in my memory! Last seasons performances of Bernstein’s Mass with the LA Phil was a magical experience, for sure.
What are you listening to these days?
Journey (always), Daryl Hall, Dionne Warwick, Loreena McKennitt, Luther Vandross, Prince, George’s Michael
Being a part of the LAMC is a great honor. I feel so lucky to be able to love my work, whether I'm singing, working in my Apothecary, cooking -CREATING! I'm blessed to create music with my best friends. Im also a proud mom to William, and very happily married to Scott. Life is good.
Where do you live in L.A.?
I live in the foothills north of Glendale
What L.A. experience do you consider essential for visitors/newcomers?
Wow ... so many cool things to do in LA! I’m a vegan, so I like to turn people on to vegan restaurants. Some of my favorites are Little Pine (owned by Moby .. all profits go to animal organizations), Follow Your Heart and Ramen Hood at the Grand Central Market. Beelman’s is a great vegan pub in the heart of downtown LA — supercool!
