The Los Angeles Master Chorale is immensely grateful for its foundation, corporate and government partners who make it possible to create and share world-class choral music with Los Angeles and cities around the world. We are especially grateful to our sponsors and supporters who have stepped up with additional and more flexible funding during the COVID-19 pandemic.
You can help shape the cultural life of Los Angeles and contribute to innovative art through the following initiatives:
United in Song
We're launching a series of corporate team building packages, coming soon.
Support the Artistic Program
Your support will enable the Master Chorale to preserve the traditional choral art form and reimagine it for the digital ageas we perform at our home in Walt Disney Concert Hall, in the communities of Los Angeles, and in spaces around the world.
Invest in Youth
Your investment will expand access to excellent choral music instruction from Master Chorale Teaching Artists by bringing three programs to 1,300 students at LA-area schools in underserved areas.
Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, our education staff has been working hard to create digital opportunities for the students we serve. Stay tuned for updates to each of these programs as we begin to launch our various digital initiatives.
Voices Within serves 5th graders with in-school residencies that guide children in writing and singing original songs that connect to the subjects they are learning in school.
Oratorio Project works with 9th – 12th graders in a 20-week residency, teaching students to write lyrics and music to an original libretto that is performed for the public.
High School Choir Festival connects nearly 1,000 students all over the county – from East LA to Calabasas – as they learn music and rehearse songs, culminating in a grand performance each spring at Walt Disney Concert Hall.
Music Maker at Home, a pilot project, is working with 5th graders at Huntington Park Elementary School through videos and online instruction focused on songwriting and singing.
