Los Angeles Master Chorale | Walt Disney Concert Hall

FROM OUR PRESIDENT & CEO

OCTOBER 2021
I couldn’t be more pleased to share with you that our concerts on September 25 and 26, our first in almost two years, were both a tremendous success. Many of you were there to experience an event that felt like a reunion of friends and family united in a love of our singers and their outstanding artistry. To all who attended, and all who support us, we thank you.

At those September concerts, we implemented our COVID-19 vaccination policy for the first time. Designated staff confirmed that all concertgoers were vaccinated before they were allowed to enter Walt Disney Concert Hall and worked with ushers to ensure that everyone wore a mask. We took these measures because we want all our patrons to be as safe as possible from COVID-19 and to do what we can to slow the pandemic. We appreciate all who showed patience before the concerts, waiting to show their proof-of-vaccination, and who were willing to don a mask.

We will continue to require vaccination verification and mask wearing at our concerts: the safety of our staff, singers, and—of course—our audiences remains our top priority.

Even with the necessary precautions in place, I think you’ll all agree that it’s great to be back, hearing the Voices of L.A. once more. We’ve got a great season in store, starting with Rachmaninoff’s All-Night Vigil on November 20 and 21. Thank you for helping to make it possible, and I hope to see you all there.
