Bio:
Bass/baritone Scott Graff is a concert soloist, opera singer, ensemble singer, and recording artist. He has appeared as a soloist with numerous ensembles including the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Musica Angelica, the Carmel Bach Festival, California Bach Society, Synchromy, and HEX. He has originated roles in several new operas, including the Therapist in the premiere of Vera Ivanova’s The Double, the Rabbi in a workshop production of Michael Roth's The Golem of La Jolla, and Josef Stalin in Lisa Scola Prosek's The Daughter of the Red Tzar.
Scott is also an active ensemble singer. The Master Chorale’s 2025/2026 season marks his 25th with the ensemble. In that time he has performed as part of the touring companies for the staged production of Orlando di Lasso’s monumental Lagrime di San Pietro and Music to Accompany a Departure, the stage production of Heinrich Schutz’s Musikalische Exequien (both directed by Peter Sellars). He also participated in multiple LA Master Chorale recording projects, including LAMC’s most recent release of music by Billy Childs featuring violinist Anne Akiko Meyers. Scott has also sung on the soundtracks for more than 80 feature films and television projects.
