Highlights of your musical career:
The recent concert in Germany with 280 in the chorus from all over the world - that was exciting! And, singing the National Anthem at Dodger Stadium… nothing like 40,000 people cheering you.
Favorite choral work(s):
Bach B-Minor Mass
A defining moment of favorite LA Master Chorale onstage experience:
Anytime we sang with the Luckman Jazz Orchestra. That is so much fun!
What are you listening to these days?
If I'm not studying a specific piece it will probably be Brazilian Radio on Pandora.
Anything you'd like to add about yourself?
Fun fact: I am a 5th generation Californian.
What L.A. experience do you consider essential for visitors/newcomers?
Anything the LAMC is singing, of course! Also, La Brea Tar Pits, everyone should go!! We premiered David O's piece A Map of Los Angeles and I loved the prehistoric creatures featured in it!! That would have been a 2-fer; LAMC and a reference to the Tar Pits.
