Have you ever wondered what it’s like to sing inside Walt Disney Concert Hall?
The Master Chorale presents singer/composer Moira Smiley, who will lead an immersive a cappella experience inside the incredible acoustics of Disney Hall that will involve the entire audience. No musical background is necessary! Smiley, whose voice and music have been heard on feature films, BBC & PBS television programs, NPR and TED talks, will teach the audience a selection of folk songs alongside members of the Los Angeles Master Chorale for a fun, shared concert experience. All you need to do is show up and be ready to SING.
In spring of 2017, Moira Smiley has been commissioned to compose a new work for 900 students at the 27th annual High School Choir Festival, which will be reprised in June on the Master Chorale’s Lux Aeterna program.
