Our Listen Up! pre-concert talks are a great way to learn more about the music you will hear during your concert. Listen Up! is hosted one hour prior to most concerts and free to all ticket holders on a first-come first-served basis. Seats are limited in BP Hall, so please allow some extra time to assure your seat.
These talks are typically hosted by Kiki & David Gindler Artistic Director Grant Gershon and Classical KUSC Radio Host Alan Chapman. However, oftentimes we'll have special guests including composers, musicologists or guest artists who bring an extra dimension to the conversation with behind-the-scenes insights.
Past Listen Up! guests have included Nico Muhly, Morten Lauridsen, Dale Trumbore, Reena Esmail, and more.
