For selected performances at Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Los Angeles Master Chorale invites school groups, particularly those groups in our High School Choir Festival, to attend a dress rehearsal for a sneak peek of an upcoming concert. Students say that seeing the inside perspective of the Master Chorale rehearsal process is both unique and special since dress rehearsals are normally closed to the public.
During this last run through before the performance, it is a thrill to watch Music Director Grant Gershon make music as he fine-tunes the ensemble and gives students a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like to work as a professional musician in the finest ensemble in the country.
