As a fully professional choir, the Chorale attracts the best singers in Los Angeles – who are vetted and re-auditioned every two years – and have maintained an unmatched level of artistic output under the direction of Grant Gershon. Master Chorale singers are phenomenal sight readers and gifted studio musicians, which is invaluable in an industry where time is money.
The Los Angeles Master Chorale, established in 1964, has grown up in the land of Hollywood and naturally dabbled in the biz and performed on major motion picture soundtracks.
John Williams conducts the Master Chorale for "Star Wars: The Last Jedi".
