Bio: “Gorgeously radiant” ( soprano, Christina Bristow is a graduate of The University of Southern California earning her Graduate Certificate and Masters of Music in Voice performance at the USC Thornton School of Music. She has her Bachelor of Arts in Music from California Baptist University, magna cum laude. She is an award winner for the Metropolitan Opera Council auditions Western Finals 2013 & 2014, NATS-LA Young Artist of the Year 2014, NATS-AA competition semi-finalist 2014, and scholarship recipient from the Colburn Foundation in Early Music Performance at USC. Studying with renowned mezzo soprano, Cynthia Munzer, her most recent performances include Sister Constance in Poulenc’s Dialogues des Carmélites, Rosina in Rossini’s Barber of Seville, Angel in Schütz’s Wiehnachts-Historie, Second Lady in Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte at USC, Adina in Donizetti’s L’elisir D’amore, “daughter” in Performance Riverside’s production of Gilbert and Sullivan’s Pirates of Penzance, and Milly in Seven Brides For Seven Brothers where she received the Inland Empire Theatre League Award for Best Actress. A sought after soloist and choral artist, she is very active in singing for the Los Angeles area, including singing for the Los Angeles Master Chorale as soprano soloist for Handel’s Messiah and Alexander’s Feast, Mountainside Master Chorale as soprano soloist for Brahm’s Ein Deutsches Requiem and Faure’s Requiem, LA Opera Chorus, Inspiravi Chamber Choir, USC Baroque Sinfonia, and Glendale City SDA Church. Ms. Bristow can also be heard on numerous film soundtracks including Pixels, Transformers: The Last Knight, Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Alita: Battle Angel, The Lego Movie: The Second Part, and Jumanji: Enter the Jungle.
