Bio:
Sean Gabel, bass, is a versatile performer and studio singer based in Los Angeles. His musical journey has taken him around the world, performing for both Hong Kong Disneyland and Shanghai Disney Resort, as well as locally at esteemed venues such as the Hollywood Bowl, Dolby Theatre, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Segerstrom Concert Hall, Microsoft Theater, and the Hollywood Palladium.
As a session singer, he has recorded in iconic studios including the Fox Scoring Stage, Warner Bros. Eastwood Scoring Stage, Henson Recording Studios, Evergreen Studios, United Recording, and EastWest Studios.
Sean has a life-long love of the theater, having performed in dozens of musicals including Forever Plaid, The King and I, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, The Music Man, Beauty and the Beast, and many more.
Additionally, Sean is a dedicated ensemble singer, performing with the Pacific Chorale as a staff singer and soloist, The L.A. Choral Lab, Voices of Terpsichor, and the Los Angeles Master Chorale.
As a classically trained bass with Bachelor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Vocal Performance, Sean also sings in concerts and operas around Los Angeles. Opera credits include La Traviata (Un Commissionario), Ariodante (Re, King of Scotland), Die Zauberflöte (Sarastro), and La cambiale di matrimonio (Norton).
Whether on a theater stage, in the recording studio, in a concert hall, or singing for an event with his barbershop quartet—every form of musical performance tells a story, and Sean is thrilled at each opportunity to get to connect the audience with the stories only music can tell.
