Bio:

Mezzo-soprano Sarah Lynch was born and raised in Los Angeles and has been a roster member of the LA Master Chorale since 2014. Other southern California ensembles with which Sarah has been active in concert and recording include Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, Street Symphony Chamber Singers, Prism, Clarion, as well as the professional choirs of St. James’ in the City and St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral. Sarah is currently a staff singer at St. John’s. She made her third appearance in June 2025 with the fabulous musicians of Baroque Music Festival, Corona del Mar, and last spring also sang in the solo quartet for Mozart’s Solemn Vespers, in concert with the choir and orchestra of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church, Pacific Palisades. A session singer for over a decade, Sarah’s recent film credits include Superman, Twisters, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, The Tiger’s Apprentice, Thelma the Unicorn, and The Super Mario Bros. Movie, among others. She also sang on soul singer Michael Kiwanuka’s upcoming album release. Sarah performed in the 97th Academy Awards ceremony in 2025, with her LA Master Chorale colleagues, and was also one of eight LA Master Chorale singers featured, alongside Gustavo Dudamel and the LA Philharmonic, on the album of Gabriela Ortiz’s remarkable work, Revolución Diamantina, which won 3 Grammys in 2025. Sarah also works as an orchestrator, arranger, and in music prep for film, television, theater, and the concert stage. She holds two degrees in Piano Performance and studies voice with soprano, Renee Sousa.
