Laurence Servaes
Soprano
The Belgian Soprano Laurence Servaes has premiered several new operas and performed her concert repertoire all over Europe. She sang the role of the Nurse in the contemporary opera Shell Shock by N. Lens and choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui conducted by Bassem Akiki at the Philharmonie de Paris, premiered Juliette in Paternel (F. Nuyts) and sung Pamina in Mozart’s Zauberflöte, Aréthuse in Charpentier’s Actéon, Damigella in Monteverdi's L’incoronazione di Poppea, and Romy Schneider in Elle est moi und töte mich (J. Blanckaert).
She has been the soloist in C.P.E. Bach's Magnificat with the NFM Leopoldinum Orkiestry Kameralnej at the Berliner Philharmonie, Christus Oratorium (J.S. Bach) with Akademie Für Alte Musik Berlin, Mozart’s Davide Penitente with Sigiswald Kuijken, J.S. Bach's Christmas Oratorio with the Lautten Companey, Mozart Arias with the European Philharmonia, J.S. Bach's St. John Passion with Aspetti Musicali, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater and G.P. Telemann’s St. Luke Passion with Michael Scheck, as well as a concert series with several of J.S. Bach’s works conducted by Paul Agnew.
