Where else do you teach/gig/conduct/sing/perform? I just completed my seventeenth season with the Carmel Bach Festival, am a staff singer at St. James Episcopal Church and a member of the Street Symphony Chamber Singers. I am also a teaching artist with LAMC's outreach programs, Voices Within and the Oratorio Project.
Recording/TV/Film: Górecki: Miserere, Nico Muhly's A Good Understanding (Decca), Steve Reich's You Are (Variations) (Nonesuch); Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Ghostbusters, Fifty Shades of Gray, My All American, and several other films.
Highlights of your musical career:
Lincoln Center performance of Steve Reich's Tehillim with other women of LAMC and playing Patsy Cline in long-running production of Always...Patsy Cline in Chicago
Favorite choral work(s):
Handel's Dixit Dominus and Bach's B Minor Mass
A defining moment of favorite LA Master Chorale onstage experience: I will never forget performing Ligeti's Lux Aeterna for the grand opening of Walt Disney Concert Hall. We were scattered all over the space, which was terrifying, but exhilarating.
What are you listening to these days? The Punch Brothers, Special Consensus, Darrell Scott...
