Where do you live in L.A.? Highland Park
What L.A. experience do you consider essential for visitors/newcomers? 1. Hiking! We have an abundance of beautiful and convenient trails all over the county. They always provide me with a welcome escape from the cacophony of life in the city.
2. Finding a really unique or kitschy bar and getting a gaudy, overpriced cocktail.
3. Seeing a live performance somewhere, anywhere. The talent in this town is staggering.
4. Eating any and all food, particularly of the donut, ice cream, and/or Latin American varieties.
