Bio:
Suzanne Waters is known for her precision while singing light, soaring soprano vocals in the concert hall, as well as for film, TV, commercials and game scores. As a soloist, she has worked with such composers as Hans Zimmer on Dark Phoenix, Heitor Pereira on Angry Birds 2, and Daniel Pemberton on Birds of Prey. She has also invented singing voices for baby lobster creatures on Amazon’s The Tick for composer Chris Bacon, and belted delta blues riffs for composer Joshua Mosley on The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners VR game.
 
Most recently in her 9th season with the LA Master Chorale, Suzanne performed as a soloist for composer Jeff Beal’s (House of Cards) reimagined score of the silent film, Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans. Previous LAMC solo performances include Nico Muhly’s The Faire Starre, Eric Whitacre’s Hurt, Cloudburst, and Lux Aurumque, and Shawn Kirchner’s Songs of Ascent. As a guest artist with the distinguished Jacaranda concert series, Suzanne performed Esa-Pekka Salonen’s Five Images After Sappho, Olivier Messiaen’s La Mort du nombre and William Schuman’s In Sweet Music.
 
Other solos can be heard on films such as Lamp Life (Pixar Short), Lady and the Tramp (2019), Men in Black: International, A Dog’s Journey, Lego Movie 2, Creed 2, The Nun, Wrinkle in Time, Downsizing, Transformers: The Last Knight, and Despicable Me 3, as well as TV shows including The Simpsons, Pennyworth, S.W.A.T., Gotham and The Academy Awards. Recent miscellaneous solo credits include a viral trailer for the game Magic: the Gathering Arena, the newly revamped “Mission Space” Disney theme park ride, and Leslie Odom Jr.’s 2019 single, “Under Pressure.”
