Favorite choral work(s):
A defining moment of favorite LA Master Chorale onstage experience:
There are so many from over the years, but 3 stand out - riding on the Music Center float in the 1989 Rose Parade; singing in the 1993 Grammy Awards; performing a Requiem Mass at the LA Main Library with 30 other Chorale volunteers immediately after 9/11
What are you listening to these days?
Classic big band swing and Hawaiian pop vocal music
Anything you'd like to add about yourself?
We're very eclectic in our house - we listen to just about everything. I financed the first couple of years of college playing bass in a country and western band, while at the same time singing in a barbershop quartet.
